EZ Arch is intended to serve as a brick arch form, providing easy, fast, and aesthetically pleasing brick arches. Made from 14-gauge steel in 3” and 4” widths, each piece is manufactured in 10’ lengths (can be cut to length in the field), with rounded tabs for adhering the form to the wood frame on the structure. Each 1” tab is manufactured with a 1/4” hole for fastening and securing the product to construction framing using screws or nails.
EZ Arch is also hot-dip-galvanized, providing longer protection than other types of galvanized steel.
The installing mason can secure the EZ Arch to the building frame at the desired arch radius. This allows the mason to lay the brick arch courses along the EZ Arch width. After completion of the arch construction, the mason leaves the EZ Arch in place. Although EZ Arch is galvanized for long-term life in the wall, it can be painted to match surrounding trim.
EZ Arch is not intended to provide permanent structural support but is strictly intended to improve the brick arch construction process and provide a more consistent arch radius.
