MortarHalt™ is engineered with a distinctive profile to break up and suspend mortar and debris droppings at varying heights, allowing water to flow to the weep holes. MortarHalt™ is a specifically manufactured material of textured, nonwoven design using 100% recycled polyester fibers (PET) and water based resins. The open material offers unmatched strength, preventing product collapse yet assuring ventilation and moisture drainage of the wall cavity. MortarHalt™ is offered in three thicknesses, .50, 1.0, and 2.0 for .5”, 1”, and 2” wall cavity applications.
APPLICATIONS
For all commercial and residential masonry cavity wall flashing locations including shelf angles, lintels, slab edges, through-wall penetrations and windowsills.
